A glorious sunny and frosty day, perfect walking weather. Very few snow patches but the ground was frozen (great for the bogs) and the snow that was left was rock hard. Awesome views to the Grey corries, Ben Nevis, Ben Tee, Kintail, Loch Arkaig hills, Loch Laggan hills, Creag Meagaidh and beyond.
Beautiful long shadows with the winter sun, even the pylons and wind turbines looked slightly majestic! Saw grouse and red deer, a herd went past close by when I dropped down to the bealach and I could hear their hooves going over the crispy bog. Went in past to sign the bothy book, very easy access from the road end. Only met a photographer back near the car park, fine quiet hills. Ending 2019 on a high with a fantastic Hogmanay hike in stunning conditions :D
