It is 2020 now, and a WR on my final walk of last September's holiday still has to be written here and now, in January. Shame on me.
And it was such a well spent holiday, Fisherfields, Arran, Kintail. With saying goodbye comes the shaking of hands, so ofcourse my last walk would have to be hands on.

I had some trouble finding the start of the route (one layby too far east and a river in spate) so the first 30 minutes of the walk were spent cursing through mud and being gazed at by curious highland cows. After finding the path upwards no problems were met all day, sun, cloud & showers each took their turn, I had the ridge to myself and enjoyed a perfect day.

I will be back again in April, and I can hardly wait.

I hardly think the Forcan ridge needs introduction, so here's a simple short video and some photos. Enjoy.

Brilliant photos Jacob! Looks like you had a lot of fun and no wonder you got a great day for it.

The Saddle and ridge looked brilliant when I saw them in the flesh for the first time a few months ago on the way to Ratagan, then again from Beinn Bhan I can't wait to get up there, I'll have to move it up my to-do list now. :D

Some fantastic pics there, Jacob     . I'll be there towards the end of next week, though probably concentrating on the north side of the glen. The whole of that area is just so brilliant.

Thanks for your kind words. Any walkreports for your walks coming up? That would really be appreciated.
