Goals:
- Halfway on the Corbetts – tick (112)
- Get to 50 Grahams – uh, er, well… (49)
- More than 1000km logged – tick (1236)
Highlights:
- ~58 hill days, including 2 spectacular ones at over 10,000ft in Colorado
- Reaching two of the most remote Corbetts, Beinn Dearg Bheag and Beinn Dearg Mor (13½ hrs / 36.3km / 1502m), with Jimmy and David on a very long, but spectacular May day
- Renting a campervan for a trial run in the Cairngorms. I learned a lot about what’s important to me—showers and toast!
- Climbing Seana Braigh (again) with Evie, from the “other” side—Strath Oykel
- Getting a fantastic view from the top of Suilven
- Discovering Islay!
- Three days in Northumberland with Alison
- A fair few self-catering holidays (ah, the “retired” life…): Lochinver (twice), Glen Tanar, Pennan, Aviemore (two weeks!)
