Are you planning to climb Ben Nevis for a first time and don't know what to expect each month ?

This video can help you if you are planning to climb the highest
scottish - british mountain.

I have climbed Ben Nevis 23 times up to now and hope to keep climbing the wonderful mountain every year...
During the time I experienced all seasons and weather conditions there.
The weather is very important factor, not just the season.
Planning, preparation, timing, estimating, watching the weather forecast and compare at least two sources, not just for the bottom, but also for the mountain summit as there is always different world which you will not see in the starting level. The temperature is colder, wind stronger, visibility may be worse even if the views on the bottom are clear ! Be ready for that please, don't underestimate the mountain and don't overestimate your abilities. You know your fitness level so plan your timing wisely and understand the season time - daylight as it's always better to start earlier than finish late in darkness when you are tired...along with other gear carry torch , head torch, map, GPS device ( not just your phone with GPS as you may need the phone anytime and the battery is running off quicker on the colder conditions ), outdoor charger would be also a good idea, drinks & food enough, survival bag, whistle, first aid kit, extra layers incl. waterproof, windproof, insulated and gloves as even in summer there is still snow on the top and you would be surprise. Add warm head cover, balaclava, goggles, crampons and ice axe in winter...
The weather is the factor as you can get better conditions and views in clear sunny winter day than in windy, foggy and wet summer day sometimes.

Thanks, hope it can help when seeing what to expect each month, but every year is different with the monthly conditions depends on the weather and amount of snow during winter
