Walkhighlands

After putting on a few pounds and fitness levels dropping following the festive period and harsh winter we decided that we should attempt our first Munro of the year on Ben Vorlich. We set off from Ardvorlich on the South Bank of Loch Earn around 9am. We were well aware of the poor conditions at the summit as this could be witnessed from the carpark, however we decided that we would go as far as we could. I think we all knew that reaching the summit would be difficult considering neither of us has crampons but a good stretch of the legs was required.
