Nice to climb this hill from Glencongas as I usually start from Tomnavoulin. A good bright day, a few snow flurries.
Nice walk, bit of variety with farmland, woodland and moorland on the top. Very windy as it always is when I go up there. Cloudy so view not as good as usual. A really good day out with Mich and Moira
Back down through woodland, path down through rough grass and moorland is not clear. Back through farmland, had the dog but is was ok because cattle were away up the hill but it was really mucky at the bottom of the field where we had to cross a burn and go through the farmyard. Slurry to get through because the cattle had obviously been hanging about near the gate.
