Sunday 9th August 2009 and I'm joined by my daughter Megan and her friend Lorna and a swarm of midges to tackle Bidean Nam Bian and Stob Coire Sgreamhach via the Lost Valley. Everything was going swimmingly until we hit the horrible red scree steep incline up to the beallach between the two munros. Unfortunately others had put us off doing the round trip saying the other route was really steep, so we descended that red scree - not pleasant.
There were many great views that day, and I loved the way the Mamores just started to appear one by one.
