I was watching the movie "Edie" a few years ago and decided to do this hike.

Should you hike it as well?

Edie was having a hard time with this mountain. If you are not in great shape, or not up for a full day out, I would suggest staying overnight at Suileag bothy. You will find it after an hour or so of hiking from the car park. From the bothy you still have a bit of distance, before you start gaining elevation. The elevation is not that bad, even though the steep part is hard if you do not pace yourself. When you get up you have awesome views.

If Edie could do it, then so can you. Go hike it!

Feel free to check out my video from when I hiked Suilven to see what it is like :) Start at 40 seconds into the movie, and go until 3.50 for the Suilven and the bothy part.

I quite enjoyed Edie, but found it rather annoying that because they wanted her to row across the lake they got her approaching the opposite side from you, and then, because they wanted her to stay in the bothy, magically transported that to the other side too. Good to be reminded of somewhere we really enjoyed staying. Liked the video. You had a good day to do it.
