Campervan trip 030 2011.
After a pleasant Sunday evening with good weather at Knockan Crag WC 116 we moved to the Stac Pollaidh car park NC107095 on Monday morning.
There is an artificial path which I followed to the ridge at the E end of Stac Pollaidh and then traversed the ridge with the dogs to the final scramble to the summit. I tied the dogs to an outcrop and made the summit in clear weather. A descent on the N side brought me back to the main path and the car park. 2hrs 15 min.
After that we moved round to Inverkirkaig car park and lunch. Then on to Lochinver where Jean bought some pies. After that we moved round to Kylesku WC 103 (south car park of bridge) for an overnight. A few beers in the evening at the Kylesku hotel.
Second ascent of Stac Pollaidh on 07/04/2019. Separate entry for this day.
