New campervan trip 022 2nd 2019 and Kylesku Hotel.
To Kylestrome walkers' car park (WC 125) from Scourie. Walk with Dash to jetty. Then a challenging bike route which I have walked on a number of occasions. High SW winds causing some stability issues particularly on steeper downhill sections. Remaining dry apart from a light shower towards the end.
From the walkers' car park Kylestrome I biked along Loch Glean Dubh and made the ascent by the Maldie Burn. At the junction NC 264 370 I turned left onto the high level route on the SE slope of Ben Strome thus making my way back to the car park. A good biking route with technical character due to the loose gravel stone track and high winds. 1hr 50min.
Back to Scourie beach WC 160 for an overnight.
Other days on Ben Strome: 24/10/2012, 13/03/2013, 07/03/2015, 12/08/2018, 10/02/2019, 10/11/2019. Separate entries for these days.
