New campervan 24 4th 2019.
A hot blue sky day with no wind. Excellent visibility.
I left Dash with Jean at the walkers' car park and biked along the loch path to the Maldie burn. Then I continued up the track adjacent to the burn to the bealach nam Fiann. I left my bike at the ruin and walked in Walshes to the summit of Ben Dreavie. For the return I took the higher route on the S flank of Ben Strome. At the loch of Allt Bristie I had a short swim. Quite refreshing and an idyllic setting. 4hrs 30min.
Stayed at the walkers' car park and erected the awning and chilled in hot sunny weather. Short walk with Dash.
First ascent of Ben Dreavie 15/11/2016. Third ascent 19/03/2022. Separate entries for these days.
