Lots of fun on this easy to follow waymarked route yesterday. Early on in the walk there was a carpet of snowdrops and further along the daffodils were coming out (they may now be regretting that given the change in weather!). It was a bit muddy in places - but that pretty much goes without saying as everywhere is muddy at the moment! - though there were pools for the dogs to wash themselves off a bit. Moss had fun posing with the sculptures along the trail. We detoured to visit both hillforts, the smaller of the two has a trig point at the summit whereas the larger one and the summit of the sub-2000 was marked with a cairn. We could see snow on the hills in the distance, and it looked like there was some good snow cover on East and West Lomond, but over here it felt a lot more like spring!

Spot snowy East and West Lomond in the distance!

From the summit there is another smaller lump, the views are even better from this spot!
