First time out of many visits that I've been here with any amount of snow. Even though on the doorstep I was still out of bed at 4.30am to get ready to get to the car park for 5.45am for a sunrise around 7am. Didn't quite make the top for sunrise but near enough to get some nice photos.
It was a bit chilly but I met three runners in shorts and shoes!

Still a short way to go.

Getting cold!

A quick stop at the top. Too cold for hanging about though.

Fab pics! Can see it from ma hoose.

Not as keen as yourself to get up there that early though!

Well worth it.

Well worth the effort and early start.

Maybe next time you could give yourself a bit longer in bed and then get the shorts and trainers out ............................

Ha ha. No chance! I think I would probably be slower if I did. Mind you, in summer time with a pair of those bouncy running shoes I could imagine myself bounding up the path there.
