One of the most straightforward munros with cracking views.
Will make a great introductory munro for someone new / new-ish to munro walking.
Bonus: toilets at the carpark!
Stage 2 and 3 - Excellent path
Stage 4 - Plenty of cairns along the way
Stage 5 - Alas, not the best summit views!
Stage 6 - Return route
There are enough false summits to keep you going, but not as many as Ben Vane's to deflate your spirits!
Please take these stats with a pinch of salt. First reason being I had descended about 200m to reconvene with my friend before ascending again to reach the summit. Secondly, it's not a true reflection of our walk as I've forgotten to turn it on at the start as I have been so inclined to doing so many times now.... But what I have says, distance 10.7km, ascent 1287m, and time 4h 13mins.
Anyhow, this is by far my favourite kind of social distancing activity #coronavirus
