10am - 8pm, Jamie and Jan for weekend,
0838 train from Rannoch to Tulloch station (London - Ft. William sleeper = FREE), walk along tracks for 2 miles to just
before Fersit. breakfast in sun then followed stream up shoulder past 450m lump then headed onto knobbly ridge and
lunch on ridge before clagged summit (1.30).
from ScS, followed faint path over lumpy ridge in cloud to South top cairn then descent to bealach where cleared for
while until reached summit where cloud once again restricted view (3.30), tea + tablet.
From Chno-Dearg descended directly off SE ridge quite quickly down screes into corrie and crossed low river - ground
dry. steep pull up 200m onto long NE ridge of BnL (Jan struggling, Jamie sherpa duties) Not much of path but going
good but into rain,cloud and wind - not quite what plans envisioned!! Wet but defiant in shorts and eventually summit
loomed out at us. Quick descent to Loch Ossian YH (8pm) Fine night in cosy shelter, no showers, lots hot water, bed
