9.30 to 8.00pm
Jamie, Jim and John
6.5km approach to beyond stepping stones with 361m ascent
start by green hut and marked trail, good path to lochan. Cut right and cross outflow and up easy slopes to ridge and path to claggy summit 12.45pm. Long circuit around lochan and lumps and bumps to fishing bothy (locked up), then direct steep craggy ascent in sun with midges to 2nd summit 5.00pm. All surprised how long it's taken us - then good ridge and descend steeply to path and quick return to the car.
back time listen to world cup England vs Uruguay 1-2, and haggis for tea.
Another long tough day on the hills this week.
