We decided to use this route up the Aonachs because Roger was still unsure about his recovery from injury and the route would give a bail out - he had already been up these hills so could retreat to the Snow Goose while I completed them if need be. He didn't need to use that option so we followed the route as given in WH. So we paid our dues and took the gondola to the Snow Goose and followed the route up the northern ridge of Aonach Mor, past the ski-ing infrastructure, which I think looks rather sad and derelict in the summer. The weather was overcast - the clouds kept off the Aonachs but weren't so kind to the folks on the Ben.
