Picked up H and met GordonC in the layby.
Headed off before another lady, out for a walk on the same track. The plan was to be out before the other walkers on the most frequented part of the route, which we achieved - apart for a lone early runner.

Allowed H his early bath in the pond on the way up. There was no-one on the track up by Greymore and over to Blackyduds.

The long road to Blackyduds

The sun beamed down on us untill we were near the top of Blackyduds, with a refreshing breeze to lower our temperature and keep the flies grounded.
We cooried down at either end of the summit shooting butt for a piece and a a fine view across to Bennachie.

Eventually we had to hoist ourselves up and return to the cars. Recovering a dropped tanner before we set off ( can't be profligate with the siller - even on the hill ! )
By this time, the laybys were chokka with walkers out to make the best of the weather so we made room for them
A glorious day out with my mate Gordon and a much cleaner Harvey returned.
Looking forward to next week when we can visit some more ( low risk ) TUmps in our area.
