The Cheviot and Donald top, West Cairn. 12.55 to 1955 (7hrs)
Ewan, Cody and I from Oxnam self catering - Newbigging Croft.
Perfect walking day, sunny spells and clouds with decent breeze.
Took our descent route from 3 amigos Windy Gyle outing.
Plenty decent breaks whenever Ewan requested. Pavement walking on ridge when on Pennine way slabs, peat bashing avoided and bogfest cheviot summit simplified. meant solo old walker at start of the walk and on route 1+2 hill runners scooted by. 3rd main stop at elevated cheviot summit trig (4hrs) then retraced steps back to scotsman cairn and then steep descent to auchope rig and welcome refuge hut for final sheltered break. Back to van in 45mins.

Lots sheep, Crows and Pheasant chicks and weirdly at end near farm came across Hares/Heron/small Bird of Prey/fox.
