Beinn Eunaich and Beinn a'Chochuill

First day back on the hills after the coronavirus lockdown.
Early morning drive up to Dalmally.
Managed to nab one of the parking places next to the bridge over the Allt Mhoille.
07.00 started walking, up the track past the farm and the highland cows, which were in a field behind a fence.

Decided to go up the steep flank of Beinn Eunaich first, turn right at cairn on track and proceed vertically.
There is a path as such but it is quite eroded with loose stones and scree, personally I would rather go up than down in these conditions.
It's hard going but you gain height very quickly.

Very warm on the way up but a nippy east wind as you got onto the ridge.
Then it's a nice gentle walk up to the top.
Beinn Eunaich summit was a bit cloudy, not many views.

Sat at the summit for a while, had a good chat with a fellow walker who was going to do the Cruachan munros as well as these two, long day to come.
Left the summit and went down through the boulder field to the bealach where I got a few good photos.

Then up to the summit of Beinn a'Chochuill on a well trodden path, cracking views through the broken cloud.
Ben Cruachan looks huge from there, it seems to tower over you.

Sat here for a long time, it was so peaceful.
Made my way off the summit and down the descent path on the southeast ridge.
Picked up the track at the bottom of the ridge and had a nice leisurely walk back to the car.
