Really nice walk with Matt, steady pull uphill through woodland and views open out as you leave the trees. Monument is very imposing. Views continue as you go over the moorland and back down into the trees. Don't think we quite followed the route on the way back but went through the Big Burn walk which is a must - really lovely. Nice hill, good all round walk.
