Been a while, since l climbed a Munro so waking at 0130...decided on the spur of the moment to try Schiehallion. A seed that had been planted for a while. Started walking from the carpark at around 5am.weather was good and the sun was rising. Good path up and only a couple of other people on the hill.Reached the boulder field and picked my way carefully, until l was at the summit, views were worthwhile. Took me 3 hours, to the top worn out knees and feet problems aside l was happy..took longer to descend as the hill was busier and any excuse to chat...people are so friendly in the outdoors. Reached the carpark to find it extremely busy.....if l had been driving a banger, there would have been a few dents and scrapes on people who cant park....thanks to the gentleman who guided me out.Great day out.
