My son and I took our first trip up Ben Alder yesterday. A perfect trip and as a highlight.... watermelon snow on the top!

Watermelon snow! First documented in Scotland in the 1960s, according to Wikipedia. A few mentions of this in Walkhighlands threads already, but only a handful, so we feel lucky!
