What do you do while recovering from a hand surgery? Go Munro bagging!

We started pretty late in the morning and by the time we arrived at Dalmaly it was almost midday. Off we go on a brilliant track walking for almost an hour to realise we had missed a turn right at the beginning and were exactly on the opposite side.. By this time it gets cloudy, start's raining and very poor visibility, just a few metres. We had covered a massive distance to turn back and now need to find a way to get back on track. Actually we had even passed Beinn Eunaich which would have been our 2nd summit.

Eventually we manage to find our way and finally reach the bottom of Beinn Eunaich which was the northern side of the mountain (very few people would have approached from the north due to the remoteness of this place). It is 2.45 noon, we have our lunch and decide to take on both the mountain with a renewed vigour. After about 2.5 hours walking through the clouds, steep ascent on the rocks and we reached our 1st Summit at 989 m. The happiness on all of our faces was priceless. Once we were on track we just sped towards the 2nd summit. We were back to our car at 8.00pm after a long, adventurous and satisfying day.
