A walk up to Meall Buidhe with my daughter almost turned into a disaster.
Torrential rain at the summit was followed by low cloud. I had lost my compass and was now getting us back by gut instinct alone. The feeling of relief when I saw the Loch below and knew I had taken us back the correct way was one I won’t forget.
