4th day of trip to Loch Arkaig. Car and bikes to end of road, then bikes to end of forestry track beyond upper glendessary. Niccy had bad tumble from bike; Erna found it hard going, I faffed with my pack! Rain started just before a great scramble up a stoney shute, then north west to Sgurr na Ciche, along the ridge to Garbh Choich Mhor, after which we split into two groups as Niccy was finding it hard going. Me and Erna went on with Rebecca and her Garmin. Cate, Deirdre and Diane in the other group with another Garmin. My Plantar Fasciitis got worse and hurt from about half way along the ridge to final munro of Sgurr nan Coireachan. Horribly long slippy descent. Then back on the bikes - some waiting for Erna so the others arrived at the car not long after us. Bikes loaded amongst the midges ( I had mine and Cates) then back to the cottage where Eric had the kettle on for me. Brrr. i was chilled.
