The car park is currently closed and so is the Silver Walk from the Ardmurlich car park. I couldn't see how long works would last.
We decided to drive to Castle Tioram instead and start there.

We arrived at low tide, so we're able to walk to the castle. The path up was quite overgrown with fern. After some exploring we found the start of the Silver walk. Lots of stone steps snaking their way along the coast. There is some light scrambling involved and trees block the path on occasion. This part of the walk is stunning. And it would certainly be more impressive to arrive along the coast and experience the castle coming into view.

The latter part of the walk is quite overgrown with fern. In places over 1.5m high. I would recommend doing this walm outside summer for this reason. Fortunately we didn't catch any ticks. We stopped for a break by the beach which was cut short by midges descending on us within seconds. So after a rushed sandwich we decided to head back. We were still about 25min from the end, but the fern and midges just did it for us.

The way back followed the same route and again really enjoyed the 2nd half, closer to the castle.

Useful report - thanks. Hoping to do this tomorrow (17 Oct 2020) Any idea if the path or car park is still closed?

It is a brilliant path along from the castle tioram end. I once did a walk that followed this path about halfway along before hanging a right and looping back up onto the hill and round to join the road somewhere on the way down to the carpark. Nice spot. 8) :D
