Be extremely careful between Port Mary and Cullipool (stages 3 and 4). There's been a major rock fall north of Cullipool quarry completely blocking the track, and there are various points where the track is eroding onto the rocks below. Do NOT go near the edge as there are dangerous overhangs. At low tide it is just possible to scramble over the rocks, but they can be slippery and dangerous. Do not try and attempt this part of the route at high tide. The description of this route needs to be changed, as it is only now safe to walk from Port Mary and Cullipool by cutting inland and walking over the hills, which has fabulous views over the Firth of Lorn and islands.
