Thunderstorms forecast but they were heading north and East.
Time to head south again.
There's a wee layby just at the wee mast after the farm. Get behind the mast and over the drystone wall and keep the fence on your left all the way to
Herman law. ( summit is the junchion of the fences!!

1st summit!!!

As another poster post it, "it starts off extremely steep but that relents after a while to just very steep" :D
I got on the other side of the fence from here and it's just a case of how far you want to go before heading back the same way.
Over the next top then Andrewhinney Hill

Looking over to the white coomb cirvuit eith loch Skeen; from Andrewhinney ,

then Bell Craig and then the last top Mid Rig. There is a cairn a wee bit off the path sitting about 616m but I marked beside the fence at about 621
View's on your right over white coomb hills, loch skeen and further along saddle yolk with Hartfell behind it.

Saddle yolk from mid rig

And then I retraced my steps all the way down and up, down........again
If you've got another car I'd recommend parking one in the next glen ( the Ettrick horseshoe start point) as this gives you the option of Bodesbeck and maybe some others.

Distance as per GPS
Ascent- rough estimate
Cheers
