Distance: 42 km

Ascent: 1059m

Left Linn of Dee at 9:45 and mtb'd up to Geldie Lodge.

Sunny and warm. Left bike and headed out on foot 11:00. After a good path, then tough moss and heather the open hillside I reached the ridge and shortly after the summit (Carn an Fhidhleir)13:45.

Left summit at 11:30 for the bealach prior to ascending an Sgarsoch, a much better path gave easier going to the summit 14:45. A bit cooler but great views of huge wild country.

Warm again on the descent and path to Geldie Lodge, arrived 16:45.
Great fast bike run back got me back to car at 17:15.
