After a slow but pleasant drive, parked up just over the bridge. At 12:15 headed west along the road for a bit then turned uphill following a great path all the way with great views opening up all round.

Summited at 14:30 (Sgurr na Mhaoraich). Fantastic views of the backside of the South Glen Sheil Ridge, Ladhar Bheinn and the Knoydart hills and out to sea.

I dallied on the summit for 45 minutes then retraced my steps back to the car, arriving 17:00.

Drove 4km back east along the road to a fine viewpoint to set up camp overlooking the loch to the West. Two cans of Punk IPA, a packet of cous cous and a tin of mackerel and dinner was had.

Woke at 5:00, dropped tent and was on hill again at 5:45. 15 minutes later the sun shone golden on slopes of Sgurr na Ciche and the Knoydart hills.

One of the best ever stalkers path zig zagged up towards Gleouraich, summiting at 7:40!!!

Continued along the ridge towards Spider Mialach, With some mild scrambling and a big drop to the bealach, reached the second summit of the day at 9:10.

Shortly defended a rather boggy grassy path prior to picking up a good stalkers path ending in a tunnel of Rhododendrons to the road. Back to car 11:00.

A fantastic weekend :)
