Parked near Oykel bridge and continued by mountain bike along the track. The track is in excellent condition and would be possible to drive by car (I saw a couple of cars that were no 4-wheel drive). However, as the gradient wasn't too bad I made good progress to "The School House" which is the furthest the public can drive too. From here the track is good until reaching the gate at Corriemulzie Lodge.
Beyond this the path is much rougher, but still perfectly manageable by mtb. I continued cycling to the foot of the munro, on the path towards Loch a' Choire Mhoir, leaving the bike around the 300m contour line, beyond which I would have to push the bike.
For the walk, I followed landrover tracks up to the 600m contour and then cut across the grass/boulders to the summit. Unfortunately, the cloud set in at this point so no views towards the other munros. There is a nice shelter at the top where I enjoyed a brief lunch. For the descent I followed the ridge line heading NE, but cut back across to the landrover track to collect my bike. The ride back was very easy, being mostly downhill. I met some mtb touring bikes who had come across from Ullapool.
Highly recommend doing this munro from Oykel bridge, of course using a bike. It will save you so much time!
