No chance of getting lost going from Paisley to Rutherglen, will be an automatic pilot!

I have gotten lost in a shopping mall in Paris once!!! It was really really big!!!

Paris is huge - i got lost reading the maps on the bus shelter, got my East and West confused :?

I work out of the Social Work building on King Street Rutherglen. I cover Cam/Glen. Community Addiction Worker with NHS...be giving myself councelling soon for this walkaholic thing!!

Are you across the road from the police station?

Do you enjoy your job? I'm involved a wee bit. I do the testing for the resource centres and DTTO patients- Renfrewshire though not Rutherglen.

I am indeed. I do enjoy the job but can be grim at times....its why i run for the hills :)

I supervise those samples....not the most glamourous of jobs  When doing shared care clinics i send samples to Hairmyres. We have instant tests in community clinics but dosn't show what opiate is used - every drug addict seems to be hooked on co -codamol

Few of my friends in walking group are bio - chemists. You enjoy the job?

Folk will be wondering what were gibbering about, ha.

Yeah really do enjoy my job, although working in the NHS tends to be more about paperwork and less about sample analysis!!

You really are at the sharp end of things, you have to deal with real people!!

I always thought it would be a fantastic project , if I was given the time and money, to plot out which patients were using which suppliers, because when I'm looking at their opiate traces I can see what's been cut into (is this the correct term?) their cocaine/ heroin. There's a lot of talcum powder out there!! Maybe the people in police labs already do this!!!

HEAT targets galore!!

Yeah heroin is the opiate. Cocaine is a stimulant. It would be actually great to have the full analysis/breakdown of what people are putting into their bodies, to then challenge them in the hope to think twice. I've been told brick dust is also used. I still don't know what gets put in street valium.

Glad you enjoy the job - we should swap for a day

Epic stuff again Dooterbang! :D Love the shot looking back to AB. Loved that pointy wee Corbett when I was up there last year. You are certainly motoring these days. 110 and counting fast! Seems like only yesterday I was enjoying your report on number 100 in the Black Mount. I feel I'm being left standing. You're like the new Monty!

Some absolutely brill pictures here DB to go with a great report 8) . Your Scottish Hlllwalkers group reports are beginning to make me think I might have to re-assess my attitude towards groups/clubs as they do seem like a good option at this time of year :) .

Next time I'm heading to Kintail you'll be getting a call  .

Sounds like an interesting idea! Unfortunately I would probably know a lot of your patients or more likely went to school with their mum or dad, so it would be tempting to give them a kick up the a***!
