Glas Bheinn and the Traligill Caves from Inchnadamph

A Walk from Inchnadamph to the summit of Glas Bhenn returning via a detour to visit the Tralgill caves. I Had attempted to do this route earlier in the holiday however it turned very cloudy with extremely poor visibility on the summit plateau. I thought I was at the Summit however when I checked maps/gps later in reality I was about 500 feet away from the summit cairn given the conditions that was as far as I would have gone even if I had been aware this at the time. On a better day the next week back I went to reach the true summit in more favorable conditions. A really nice and varied walk passing lochs with great mountain views at all times. The caves are well worth a visit also either as part of this walk or a walk in itself.

Hello....I recall that during the 60's being in the area for Conival and beyond when some of the Ferranti Club folks, who were into caving, invited me to go into one of the caves.....looks like it was the image with burn running beside the entrance slot.
Interesting wee tour inside with the classic limestone formations hanging from the roof, tight crawl at one point and eventually a return was made from an area where the water disappeared from a pool.
Much later I came back from reaching Glas Bheinn directly from the road with the interesting walk back across and down to Inchnadamph.
