So before we headed for the ferry to Mull, I thought I'd drive along here from the hotel as supposedly it's a good spot to see Otters. Was tight for time but wanted to have a quick look anyway.
We'd been to this car park the week before Covid Lockdown and we called it the end of the world, because the sea was choppy and you can see for miles. I quickly headed off over the undulating ground with the sea views around spectacular. There were gannets diving into the water and little meadow pippits popping up from nowhere and flying all around me. From the point it's possible to see the Corryvreckan whirlpool if you had good binoculars. I literally got to the point and then I received a text from Leianne asking if I was heading back yet?
So I scanned the rocks around me and there was evidence that something had been eating crabs.
The views out to see are to die for, but I had to quickly get off and part ran, walked back to the van, with my rather substantial breakfast doing well to stay down
