August has proved to be a great month for getting out and there were a huge number of excellent walk reports posted - we loved reading all of them.

However the adventure we enjoyed re-living the most was Tobey and Lynne's multi-day backpack in the Lake District posted by Lynne Baloo. Scafell Pike - The Crazy Route was a brilliant exploration and camping trip with the goal of watching the sunrise from England's highest peak. £100 to spend at Cotswold Outdoor is top prize for this month's winner.

Runner up prize of a £50 voucher goes to Sashman for A 24hr Round of Cairngorm NP Munros. An entertaining and exhausting account of a continuous run over 32 Munros in an amazing 23 hours, 13 minutes. Congratulations to Sashman and Ali and the army of supporters on the new 24 hour Munro record.

It was really hard to choose winners this month as there were so many great reports, but special mention should go to Widdershins for her fab account Skye Trail, solo and with a sidekick. Looking forward to what September brings ... keep posting those reports for a chance to win.
