We climbed this hill with five of our children. Since we did not have much time so we wanted an easy walk and the description suggests that this is an easy one.
We strongly advise people from doing this hill after rainy summer. It was very very boggy and some bits looked impassable. We all had water in our boots sooner or later and our ascent was much delayed by searching for the faint path and a place where we could cross without getting mud and water into our shoes.
The views are like everywhere in the Trossachs, just beautiful.
Don't forget to visit Rob Roy's grave.
We were lucky with the weather, no wind, sunshine, 16'C at the car park.
