Bank Holiday Monday walk with Mrs B. Both get the English bank holiday so kids in school. Saw them off and around a 90 minute drive to Glen Lednock. 4 or 5 cars there when we arrived around 9.30am but loads of cars parked on our return.

Straightforward & enjoyable walk. Dry with white clouds well above summit level. Good walking weather although quite a windchill on the summit plateau. Spent about 20 minutes in the shelter cairn having a bite to eat then headed back. Started to get very busy on our descent.

Kept an eye out for the mountain hares that inhabit this area but only saw a dead one underwater just below the small dam on our return.
