Beinn Fhionnlaidh, was a very enjoyable mountain to climb
The initial start is now slightly interrupted by the development of a new hydro scheme at the foot of the mountain with no visible sumit from this position
Upon completing the first slog of a 1:5 gradient for 2km we reached a small set of Lochans by a solitary Black Throated Diver
Once onto the next section the walk became much more enjoyable with the final assent being greeted by a flock of Ptarmigans and amazing views down into Glen Etive
Little wind on the top made for a perfect spot for a cheese sandwich before the walk back down for a BBQ and a beer back at home
