Great stuff Kevin

The early start certainly paid off - great sunrise shots of Schiehallion.

And will this be the final nail in the nae bikes policy? My final nail was a one day 40km hike to bag Ben Avon & Beinn a' Bhuird. Love MTB'ing now. Especially when passing heavily back-packed walkers

NO!!!!!!!!!!! Kev, repeat after me 100 times: "We're purists". D'you nae remember telling it to that family at the summit of Alder. The look of admiration on their faces! Or was that pity? They both look the same sometimes...... :?

an amusing read kev.....and no i never got a puncture  when i arrived at the van at 4:30 i was thinking of the two of you plodding along the track.
it was a great day and fabulous walk, the hulk of Ben Alder took me by suprise as did the length of the walk over the two hills but i'm really happy i saved these for a good day with views as i never saw nothing when i did the other 4

good to meet you and greame, was nice to have some company for a change :D

Talk about misleading the poor public. What was i to expect with a title like that ? and all i got was a couple of puritans beasting themselves till they could barely walk any further but each didnt want to let on to the other

Bit like a not so local Fitba team

Good effort young ones. Love the photies. :D

Ah there you are Monty. You mentioned doing this lot and more a couple of weeks back and I've not noticed you since. I was wondering if you were still up there somewhere, what with your pace slowing down and all

Good report Kev, although definitely the abridged version compared to Graeme's tome :D

Enjoyed that thanks.
I don't do bikes, nothing to do with being a purist, I prefer sore feet to a sore butt :).
