Hi all, I'm a newby to this and never thought about joining anything before but came upon this site and was impressed ......so here I am .... just had a weekend of walking in Glen Coe & Glen Etive, we climbed Bidean & Stob Coire nam Beith on Sunday followed by a few pints in the fantastic Clachaig Inn, wheather wasn't too good at the start but the cloud had lifted by early afternoon so got to see some great views. Yesterday we drove down Glen Etive and did Ben Starav which was awesome, cloudy to start but by the time we hit the summit early afternoon it was glorious and managed to see an inversion of Ben Cruachin in the distance. After sitting munching lunch and taking in the spectacular views we then went on to complete Stob Coire nam Beith....all in all a fantastic few days and the views at the top of Stravin made it all worth while. :D

Welcome to the site. I was in Glen Etive over the weekend and had an amazing day on Ben Starav as well, complete with a killer cloud inversion. It's certainly one of my favorite mountains to date.
