Once again, cracking pictures and and enjoyable read. I may have to invest in one of these intervalometer things :D You must have a fairly lightweight tripod too.

I've got a couple of tripods, depends on the conditions. I use a Velbon V-Pod in summer, and then switch to an old Velbon Ultra Luxi when I need more stability.
If you have a look on ebay for the phrase 'timer remote shutter release' you'll have your choice of intervalometers for not a lot of money...

Beautiful pictures Michael!! Also great info re the intervalometer. I am often out solo and this will come in very handy :D Thanks for posting.

It's a Laser Photon Elite.

Looks of people complain about the room in it, but I'm 6'4" and fit in it just fine!

Thanks, I'll have a good look. I've got a remote release but it's a basic cable one which only stretches so far. My tripod weighs a ton so I'll wait until I'm guaranteed some good weather before lugging it up.
