I know the wee crux bit on the Tarmachan you mentioned, I went down it as a waterfall basically, never had to put my poles away right enough ! Felt sorry for the people who had came up that way while it was pouring down who must have got a soaking, I got lucky that the sun came out and brought the spirits up a bit after Traversing the whole ridge in clag and rain

So glad you enjoyed the report :D

I was super slow coming down this bit, happy to get my hands dirty !!!

Sounds good to me Polly. That is assuming you did mean a (car) boot full of Macaroni pies & not a boot full of what you got on your way to Choire Leith?

Crikey, definitely a carboot full, although a wee bit of bog on them will do no harm- good for the immune system!!!

Please remind me nearer the time, I have a memory made of Tom and Jerry cheese!!!

Good day out with two hills in the bag and then a new ascent from the initial starting point is a good level of fitness. Your desire to jog down the last hill is a sign that you are really feeling at home in the hills. :? :? But be warned. now you have got this bug for covering a distance in the hills with a bit of jogging you will want to do more of it and who knows where this may lead, you might end up doing the Tranter Round    I enjoyed your report.
