bidean nam bian in perfect weather

it was a perfect day. low tempertures, high pressure blue skies and crispy snow. great for a walk up bidean. the route we took was to ascend up coire nan lochan, stob coire nan lochan, up on to bidean nam bian. we then followed ridge around on to stob coire sgreamhach. decent was down through allt coire gabhail.
a splendid day

Having never walked in the snow, pictures like yours have me itching for the snow to arrive so I can go out in it.

thanks paula and fudgie. i am now pretty much a winter visitor to the scottish mountains. cant be beat, and no midgies.
