This is some video footage from our recent walk up the 3 cairnwell munros. Carn Aosda, Carn a'Gheoidh and the Cairnwell. This walk would be perfect for a beginner as the first Munro - Carn Aosda - took us just half an hour. All in all another brilliant day up the hills was had by everyone.

Brilliant. You are putting alot of effort and imagination into the different shots, some of which were great (spinning round with the stone for the cairn, speeded up uphill, slow down etc.) How long does it take you to put these together?

I like to take some videos on a walk (just on my mobile phone),usually just a few clips that I chuck into my photo reports, but yours are brilliant reports in themselves.

Thanks guys, vids normally take about 2 nights to put together but this one took a bit longer because I had one finished but in the end I didn't like it so started from scratch and this is the end result.

Brilliant site Paul and love reading everyone's reports so keep them coming.

Great video Mackieonthemove. Interested to know what software you are using to edit the video. Adobe stuff or macromedai perhaps?

If my windows movie maker is working ok (which isn't very often as it has a nasty habit of crashing on me) I publish through moviemaker and it uploads fine. However if it crashes I use various file converters to change the file to avi and this always works fine for me. Hope this helps.

So good to see your dog in the film..He's very lucky to have an owner that is also a keen walker..I myself have had two Border Collies over the years and they covered many many mile with us..Our most recent one passed away a few months back but this film had inspired me to make the move and maybe get another..

Great wee vid which brought back some pleasant memories of when I walked these three a few months back. I'm not a professional movie critic but one thing which would have been good would have been to edit the film so that it lasts just as long as the song.

Dog in the lochan was one fav bit for me!
