Munros included on this walk: Càrn a' Ghèoidh, Càrn Aosda, The Cairnwell

The fun of winter walking.

A great day out on the Cairnwell trio despite the windchill and sinking in the snow

- first meet up for me using the forum :)
- laughs with new friends - Spiderwebb, Stuart (S999coob) and Monty :lol:
- 50th munro conquered :)
- wonderful scenery


Off to think about the next day out! :)

Oh how I wish I'd come along...feeling the effects of too many staffroom chocolates and not enough exercise (not sure surviving the school Christmas party counts!)

Like that second pic Louise, about only time I was in front ! Taking photos of course holds me up !

Glad Monty explained that last comment from Dooters, had me thinking, given I'm a London boy you can imagine :lol:

Nice shot of me losing the leg, how comes the cameras were never ready when Monty went flying :D

Looks like a good day out bagging the three munro's and also a good excuse to celerbrate a 50th. Its scary that this time last year we have an almost identical photo with spiderwebb taking the place of sunhowfar traversing towards the climb towards The Cairnwell. Nice one!!! :D

well done on making it to 50 louise
although the four of us spent a day together, we didn't have much opertunity to talk due to the noise of the wind :lol:
hopefully if we meet again it wont be so windy :lol: :lol:
im not far behind you and still hoping to make it to 50 this year, weather permitting :(
