This is the 5th time I have tried doing this report, keep getting booted out AAArrrggghhh

My Brother in law Kevin started off at 8:40, only the two of us today, Pigeon was working and Iain was not up for a second day on the hills, I’m pretty sure Jake would have been though.

As we headed of up to the farm and Graveyard, conditions under foot were really good, such a contrast on this time last year :D

As we made our way up the track, the sun was just starting to peak over the hill tops, as it’s was stunning as it’s light started to kiss the distant hills.

It was a mainly soft snow, occasionally deep, the odd ice patch, but we never needed the spikes at all.

We meet about 8 or 9 other walkers on the hill today, two of them making great speed with the use of snow shoes, I think they may be on the shopping list soon, they really seemed to make a difference.

I will add the photos a little at a time the site seems to keep crashing on me :(

I was thinking the same thing

Some nice photos there Huck - glad you managed to get out two days in a row and well done on ticking this one off - mind you your legs must be dun-in after all that snow you'll have trudged through!
