all the best
Steven.

no probs steven,i appreciate you letting me know early enough to re-route

brpro26 wrote:Excellent well done....that was fast. Not much snow coverage to plod through makes a big difference right enough.
Might use this same route in 2012 and bike up the landrover track.

knowing how long this is i maybe wouldnt do it in deep snow,i was fortunate with the conditions.the track would be good for the bike apart from the river crossings and it gets fairly steep near the end

hahaha......No! :)

Aye thought that too Kev..........16.8km max speed moving :wtf:

Great report again Iain, fair racking up the M points, makes my year end stats pretty feeble.

i was fairly quick on the soft, boggy ground on descents,i tend to break in to a run at some points.it seemed very quick when i saw it too :?
have been on a push recently to get to my target,it'll slow down a lot next year :(

The route is a good one(cheers monty) but rockhoppers route in and out from the farm is shorter and may/may not be quicker in these conditions and it may also give better views of Achaladair and a'Chreachain plus you dont have to ford a river 9 times,

cheers for all the replies :D

i reckon it would be a brilliant walk over the five with a high camp, plenty of places to chose from

i was even singing for a while(not a pretty sound, lol) to divert away from the feeling in my legs and feet
