www.mwis.ork.uk = sunshine spells with 80% chance of cloud free munro's, must take advantage of that I thought
so up nice early to meet my lift (StevieM) and Glencoe bound in the dark.
Nice quiet roads meant we arrived ahead of time to meet Stuart (Scoob999) at 7.45am at the already busy car park.
Kitted up, cup of tea and off we went on our merry way at 8.20am.
Stuart with his new found S.O.D
Stevie with his new jacket
and me with my borrowed moon boots
There are many great reports for this walk already, so I will let the photo's do the talking....
It was a relentless climb and I think we were all feeling it but we quickly gained height and just over an hour later we had reached the col.
no hanging about, straight up the steep path and we were soon at Munro No.1 for the day.
with stunning views all around
quick stop for some refreshments and off we went in search of our 2nd summit of the day
a nice walk up a steep snowy hill with no need for crampons!
and just more than an hour leaving the previous summit we are reach our 2nd summit of the day
can we not go down that way? lol
The views just got better
The next day like this and i'll be on this
2 weeks in a row
Another wee rest and some final admiration of the outstanding views
Good weather. great company. stunning views...A Perfect Day!
