After a tough week at work and my munro days out since last time reaching over 3months needed to get out,contacted alan s and he spoke to gammy,arranged to get out on sunday, as sunday came gammy had to cancel. so i picked up alan s at 5.50am,And headed up the A9 :( ,parked at fersit and started walking for 9ish,weather looked good and i was hoping for an inversion but just got really really great weather :lol: just a short report as alan s has posted previously.

Hi James,

Sorry I've missed you on previous outings :(

This is a smashing report and your photographs are fab. Did you and Alan have the crampons on for a fair bit of the walk?

Glad to see that your return to the hills was a good one :thumbup:

Hi Polly
We put the crampons on about 20 mins before the 1st summit but to be honest we probably could have got away without them but it was a good set of hills to get used to them, Had to try them out at some point :lol:

Hi pollyh33, yeah have missed a lot of people on gammy,s expeditions :lol: ,as alan s said we only had crampons on before first summit and onto next summit then half way down it was good to get them on and get a bit practice ,it was a bit wobbily at first under foot :lol:
